Study shows the good state of Garraf’s fishery resources

A scientific project launched by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in collaboration with local fishermen has evaluated fishery resources and ecological quality in the Garraf and Plana de Foix Marine Area. The study found the species to be in good biological and health condition, with low levels of contaminants, and resulted in a Strategic Plan for Sustainable Fisheries.

The research has led to the creation of a Strategic Plan for Sustainable Fisheries.
