Observations of a distant cluster of stars in our galaxy have led to the identification of a new class of objects that serve as galactic building blocks. Researchers utilized the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) and the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) to examine Terzan 5, which has now been classified as a “bulge fossil fragment” rather than a typical globular cluster.
